This is a quick and space efficient way of using 21 pin functionality whilst incorporating it into 8 Pin DCC locomotives. There is Speaker and Auxiliary function solder pads on the adapter, therefore increasing the usability and compatibility of decoders. There is 2 versions AL-16A and AL-16B: Al-16A has the orientation of the 8 Pin parallel to the 21 Pin decoder, whereas AL-16B the 8 Pin arrangement is at a right-angle to the 21 Pin Socket There is a White dot on the board in the corner of the 8 pin socket which identify's Pin 1 |
